We would like to thank the Sudanese Presbyterian church for visiting us and that they may visit again soon. We would also like to invite you to our Lenten soup and study on Wednesdays. Hope to see you next week.
At the session meeting this past week Pastor Kati announced she has taken a new calling at the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan Kansas. Though we are saddened by this news, we also rejoice in this new opportunity for Pastor Katie. We thank her for her three years of leadership within our church & trust in God that not only new opportunities await her but also our church. With all our love we send her forth & look forward to where this takes her.
As it says in Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
First Presbyterian Church soup and fellowship was a success. We had many guest show and had fantastic worship service. Julie led us in the Parable of the Sower told in the New Testament. Hope to see you guys next time.
Come join us Sunday, March 1st, in the basement for casual service. 9:45 gathering with coffee & snacks & 10:00 am service. Come fill your body & soul in a relaxing and & casual moment with God. See you there!!
Throughout his ministry, Jesus spoke in parables to teach and create curiosity in those who might hear his words. Join us at First Presbyterian Church in St Paul with a curious heart this Lent, as we study these stories in our worship and fellowship events and seek nourishment for our faith journey. Below the schedule is a Non-Worksheet to notate what you learn this Lent. You can use it to draw an image, doodle or write a word in each hexagon for each day of Lent(hint: you get one day off a week, since we don’t count Sundays in the 40 days).
